Service Description
Estrava provides personal organisation, documentation, and legacy storytelling assistance. Our offerings are informational and organisational in nature. We do not provide legal, financial, medical, or professional advisory services.
Current service offerings include:
- Personal Inventory Setup — hands-on assistance building a home inventory of belongings and key contacts.
- Document Filing Toolkit — templates and an inventory format to help you organise personal records at home.
- Family Legacy Storytelling — guided sessions to capture family history and memories in written or recorded form.
Services are delivered primarily in person at your location within Chiang Mai and surrounding areas, or remotely where agreed in writing. Availability is subject to scheduling and may vary.
Estrava reserves the right to adjust, suspend, or discontinue any service offering with reasonable notice to affected clients.
04
User Responsibilities
To allow Estrava to provide services effectively, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and current information when requested.
- Grant reasonable access to your home, documents, and materials necessary to complete the agreed service.
- Notify us promptly of any changes to your circumstances that may affect the service scope or timeline.
- Ensure that any content you share with us does not infringe the rights of third parties.
- Treat Estrava's team members with courtesy and respect during all in-home and remote sessions.
- Retain copies of any original documents, as Estrava does not accept responsibility for documents lost or damaged prior to our engagement.
You agree not to use Estrava's services for any unlawful purpose, or to request that Estrava assist in preparing records intended to misrepresent facts or deceive third parties.
05
Intellectual Property
All templates, methodologies, tools, and framework materials developed by Estrava remain the intellectual property of Estrava. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use any templates or toolkits provided as part of your service package for your own household or estate management purposes.
This licence does not permit you to reproduce, distribute, sell, or adapt Estrava's materials for commercial use or to share them with third parties outside your immediate household without our written consent.
Content that you provide — including family stories, photographs, personal records, and documents — remains your property. Estrava will not share, publish, or use your content for any purpose other than delivering the agreed service, unless you provide explicit written permission.
Deliverables produced for you become yours upon full payment. Estrava may retain anonymous, aggregated process notes for internal quality review purposes only.
06
Payment Terms
Service fees are quoted in Thai Baht (฿) and are payable as follows:
- A deposit of 50% of the agreed service fee is due upon booking confirmation.
- The remaining balance is due upon completion of the service or delivery of the final deliverable.
- For multi-session services, staged payments may be arranged and will be set out in your service confirmation.
Accepted payment methods include bank transfer to our designated Thai bank account, and cash payment in person. Payment details will be provided in your service confirmation.
All fees are inclusive of applicable Thai value-added tax (VAT) where required by law. Receipts are issued upon request.
Cancellations and changes: If you cancel a confirmed booking more than 7 days before the scheduled start, your deposit will be refunded in full. Cancellations within 7 days of the start date may forfeit the deposit. Rescheduling requests made with at least 48 hours' notice will be accommodated where possible at no charge.
Estrava reserves the right to suspend a service engagement where payment obligations are not met within the agreed timeline.
07
Service-Specific Terms
Personal Inventory Setup: The scope of inventory work is agreed at the initial consultation. Estrava will document items and contacts based on what you make available during sessions. The completeness of the inventory depends on the materials and access you provide. We do not assess the monetary, legal, or insurance value of any items.
Document Filing Toolkit: This service provides organisational templates and guidance. It does not constitute advice on which documents to retain, destroy, or act upon from a legal or financial standpoint. We recommend you seek appropriate professional advice for those decisions.
Family Legacy Storytelling: Sessions are conducted in a collaborative, conversational format. The final keepsake — whether written or recorded — will reflect the stories and information shared by you and your family during sessions. Estrava does not independently verify the accuracy of personal histories. You are responsible for reviewing and approving the final deliverable before it is considered complete.
Timelines for each service are indicative and may vary based on the volume of material, number of participants, and scheduling availability. We will communicate any significant timeline changes promptly.
08
Disclaimers
Estrava's services are provided as general organisational and documentation support. Nothing provided by Estrava constitutes legal, financial, tax, or professional advice. If you require such advice, please consult a qualified professional.
While we take care to provide thorough and accurate work, Estrava does not make representations about the completeness or suitability of any deliverable for any specific legal, financial, or official purpose.
Estrava is not responsible for decisions made by you or your family based on the materials or outputs we produce. The use of any inventory, template, or legacy document is entirely at your own discretion.
09
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Thai law, Estrava's total liability to you in connection with any service engagement shall not exceed the amount you have paid for that specific service.
Estrava shall not be liable for:
- Loss of data or documents that were not in our possession at the time of loss.
- Indirect, consequential, or incidental losses of any kind.
- Losses arising from delays outside our reasonable control, including illness, natural events, or disruptions to travel or utilities.
- Inaccuracies in deliverables arising from information provided to us in error.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
10
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Estrava and its team members from any claims, losses, or expenses — including reasonable professional fees — arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of any deliverable, or any claims by third parties relating to content you provided to us.
11
Termination
Either party may end a service engagement by giving written notice. If Estrava terminates an engagement without cause, we will refund any portion of pre-paid fees corresponding to work not yet completed.
Estrava may decline to continue or initiate a service engagement if, in our reasonable judgement, the working relationship has become untenable, or if requested tasks fall outside our scope of organisational support.
On termination, any completed deliverables to date will be provided to you. Provisions relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability survive termination.
12
Dispute Resolution
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall first be referred to good-faith discussion between the parties.
If a matter cannot be resolved informally within 30 days of written notice, it may be referred to the competent courts of Chiang Mai Province, Thailand.
To raise a concern, please contact us at [email protected] with a clear description of the issue and your preferred resolution.
13
General Provisions
- Entire Agreement: These terms, together with your service confirmation, constitute the full agreement between you and Estrava regarding the relevant service.
- Severability: If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
- Waiver: Failure by either party to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of the right to do so in future.
- Assignment: You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these terms to any other person without our written consent. Estrava may assign its obligations to a successor or related entity.
- Notices: Formal notices should be sent by email to [email protected] or by post to our Chiang Mai address.
14
Changes to Terms
Estrava may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our services, operating practices, or applicable law. When we do, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.
We will notify active clients of material changes by email where reasonably practicable. Your continued use of our services following an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
